We would offer 24-hour daycare on site at Roots of community
as well as before and after school programing for children and youth.

 

In addition, this program will strive to work with both the parents and the children to overcome date-identified barriers they will each face because of poverty.

 

In addition, families would have the opportunities to engage in:

  • Monthly STEM/Literacy events

  • Access to lending library of books, games, puzzles, and resources to foster purposeful connections at home.

  • Healthy family cooking events

  • Activity and wellness challenges

  • Connection to existing programs and organizations that are working in our community to support families in Springfield.
