Our Respite House

We now have two respite houses! One for women and one for men.

Our women’s house has four guest rooms, and our men’s house has three medical and three transitional beds.

We do not require ID to be admitted to respite, and we allow each patient to stay as long as they need to recover and heal fully.

Respite house patients receive a safe, stable place to recover from injury or illness. They receive assistance with medical care, medication, transportation to medical appointments, and healthy food.

Our support team works with each respite patient to create care plans, set short and long-term goals, and find next steps that do not require individuals to return to the streets after recovery. Our team ensures each individual has vital documents on discharge (ID, Birth Certificate, and Social Security card).

If you or a client/patient you work with needs respite care services, you can fill out this form or email christie@theconnectinggrounds.com to see if we have openings.
